    This document is designed to provide clear documentation of the parties that have been identified to provide services for the stated project. It's intent and purpose is to provide a list of services that are typically required to install, operate and maintain an application. The document establishes an agreement among the identified parties, that they have been designated and agree to provide the services listed. A detailed project plan will be completed to finalize implementation at a later time. This document is not intended to replace a formal service level agreement, Scope of Work or work plan, which will be developed as part of the project.

    Provide a brief paragraph describing this project.

    All areas expected to provide work efforts towards the completion of this project should be identified in the table on the reverse side of this document.

    A team, which uses tools, techniques and methodologies to Application 1design and develop systems for a functional area. After Implementation/Administration implementation a team is assigned to provide application

    development support to keep the applications or systems,

    operating in a changing business & technical environment.

    Monitors capacity, performance and availability. Capacity Planning, Application &

    Server Monitoring

    The staff of the Purchasing Department who assist in Contractual Arrangements

    identifying sources, providing, budget estimates or counsel

    and advise on all procurement-related activities.

    Responsible for publishing and enforcing guidelines and Database 1standards regarding the physical database environment and Implementation/Administration layout. Supports application development teams on

    projects that collect and maintain University data.

    Installs, maintains and supports Hardware/Servers. Hardware/Server 1Implementation/Administration

    Provides help desk support and coordinates resolution Help Desk/Problem Calls

    when a problem arises with the system.

    Maintains and tracks software licenses compliance for the License Management

    application or system. Includes licenses for application as

    well as operating system, database, client, etc.

    Coordinates network needs with computing center to Network 1provide connections required for administrative servers and Implementation/Administration workstations.

    Installs operating systems and upgrades providing support Operating System 1when issues and problems occur. Installs and maintains Implementation/Administration various software and utilities needed to manage the

    operating system. Monitors capacity for the server.

    Manages and runs production systems across platforms. Operations 1This includes scheduling, running, and monitoring all jobs. Implementation/Administration

    Installs, maintains and supports peripheral devices like Peripheral Device 1printers, modems, scanners, etc. Implementation/Administration

    Maintains detailed knowledge of current security products, Security 1directions, and issues. Coordinates the security efforts to Implementation/Administration meet the application or system security needs.

    1Provides the technical expertise to administer and consult Web Implementation/Administration

    on web server software that is needed the application or

    system.

    Manages workstations in area supporting hardware, Workstation

    software installs and upgrades. Implementation/Administration

     1 Implementation is defined as all phases of an application/system leading up to the time it is put into production.

    Administration is defined as the tasks necessary to keep the application/system operational.
