    Fredric J. Anderson Fred Anderson is a partner in Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting (BC) firmwide management group based in Dallas. In this role, he is responsible for developing human resource initiatives impacting the firm’s global Business Consulting practice. Additionally, he has responsibility for development of practice-

    wide marketing strategies and programs. He is a member of the firm’s BC Learning Strategies Group and the BC Global Leadership Team.

    In the human resources function, he works with practice leadership from major offices around the world to implement effective “people” strategies--defining core competencies, educating BC

    practitioners in these competencies and creating the tools necessary for them to succeed in their careers with Arthur Andersen. In the marketing function, he manages a team dedicated to raising awareness of these competencies and Arthur Andersen’s credentials and capabilities in the marketplace.

    During his 17 years with the Firm, Fred Anderson has been involved in numerous management roles for Arthur Andersen. Prior to Business Consulting he was a member of the firmwide management team for Legal Consulting Services focusing on strategy and market development.

    Liong Kim Chew Kim Chew is Malaysian, a graduate of Auckland Business School

     and a chartered accountant from New Zealand.

    He started his consultancy career with a “Big 6 Firm” in Sydney in 1980 and then joined AA through the 1990 HRM merger in Malaysia. He became SC Partner in September 1990, was Asia Pacific Head of Operational Consulting from 1992-1994; and has

    been Head of Asia Pacific Business Consulting since 1995. Asia Pacific currently comprises 45 partners and 660 practice staff. Kim Chew has also been Practice leader of BC Malaysia since 1992, current staff strength 50 staff.

    An accomplished business consultant and privatization expert in the ASEAN business scene with clients including the Asian Development Bank; economic planning units of the Malaysian and Indonesian and Egyptian Governments; Malaysian Ministries of Finance, Trade and Industries and transportation; Energy, Telecom and Infrastructural public/private enterprises; inbound direct foreign investors and emerging Asian business entrepreneurs.

    Kim Chew is also the Deputy Chairman of Malaysian Bureau of Consultants; a council member of the ASEAN Affairs Committee of

    the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industries; member of the Malaysia-Australia Business Council; member of the Malaysian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industries; and an adviser to the Malaysian Fujian Clansmen Association.

Kim Chew is a virtual but hands-on regional leader who spends

    most of his time traveling and meeting with clients and business associates, but as a married man with three children, he likes to relax with occasional family vacations and surfing the net with his children.

    Michael Greig Mike Greig is a director of the UK Business Consulting practice.

     He is an engineering graduate from Edinburgh University and

    joined Arthur Andersen in 1985. Mike qualified as a Chartered

    Accountant in 1988.

    Mike is a member of the leadership team for the UK regions and

    manages the day to day running of the Edinburgh office consulting

    team. Mike has responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of

    consulting services to a range of UK clients mainly in the financial

    and retail sectors.

    Charles H. Ketteman Chuck Ketteman is the Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen

     Business Consulting whose responsibilities include overall

    direction of the practice, development and management of the

    firm's extensive continuing education program for practice

    personnel, and research efforts for new products and services.

    Chuck Ketteman has over twenty years of experience in consulting

    with clients in a wide range of industries. Most recently, his client

    engagements have been primarily concentrated in the

    telecommunications industry. He has led broad ranging

    reengineering efforts and has helped clients develop new

    marketing and market expansion strategies, both domestically and


    Chuck Ketteman works with several management "thought

    leaders" in helping develop long term strategies for Business

    Consulting. He is currently working with Dr. Peter Senge of MIT

    on a major research initiative intended to expand the learning

    capability of our Business Consulting practice to help our clients

    better implement change.

    Faculty Biography

    Stephen R. Hailey Stephen Hailey heads Business Consulting in the UK and is

    responsible for developing Business Consulting throughout EMEIA. He is a member of Chuck Ketteman’s Global Leadership Team.

     He has over 25 years’ experience of advising major UK and other

    European based international groups in a wide range of different

    industries in the private sector. He also has experience in the public

    sector and of working with smaller fast-growing high technology

    companies. His client and management responsibilities have

    involved work across Europe, the US, the Middle East and the Far

    East. He was instrumental in arranging Arthur Andersen’s UK

    alliance with the accounting firm Binder Hamlyn.

     Stephen is a member of the Arthur Andersen European Operating

    Committee and was recently elected to the Andersen Worldwide

    Board of Partners.
