Mini Vintage Goal Mask by Don Scott

These mini masks are fiberglass reproductions that are completely true to the originals.

VGMM250 Garry Cheevers The goalie mask became more than a piece of protective

equipment in the late 1960’s when Cheevers first added stitches to the mask

where he had been struck by a stick or puck. It became a testament to his

courage and transformed the goal mask into a canvas on which every goaltender

    could make a personal statement.

VGMM260 Bernie Parent A legendary goalie, Bernie was famous for wearing a custom

made Fibersport mask that incorporated the use of sharp angles into the design.

The wedge shape with smaller eyes and greater head coverage offered better

protection and helped deflect pucks away rather than absorb the full impact.

VGMM270 Jacque Plant The first mask to be worn in a NHL game happened at New

York’s Madison Square Gardens by Plante as he changed the face of the game

forever. Molded to the contours of his face, this mask offered full protection to

the nose and cheek- bones and minimized eye exposure.

VGMM280 Terry Sawchuk Terry, a fearless competitor, received over 300 stitches to his

face during his career. When he donned the mask no one could question his

courage and the door was opened for others to follow as the mask gained

    acceptance.
