    The largest division, Gases, has four operating segments, Western Europe, the Americas, Asia &

    Eastern Europe, and South Pacific & Africa. These segements are subdivided into eight Regional

    Business Units (RBUs).

    The Gases Division also includes the two Global Business Units (GBUs) Healthcare (medical gases) and Tonnage (on-site) and the two Business Areas (BAs) Merchant & Packaged Gases (liquefied and cylinder gases) and Electronics (electronic gases).

    Management

    The Linde Group has a two-part management and supervisory structure

    composed of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board. The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board are liable for shareholders’ interests and for the welfare of the company. The Shareholders' Meeting serves as the company’s third supervisory organ.

    Industrial Gases

    Your supplier of industrial gases, application solutions, hardware and services

    Linde Industrial Gases produces and distributes the atmospheric gases oxygen, nitrogen and argon, all of which are manufactured in our own air separation plants.

    Our product portfolio also ranges from hydrogen, acetylene, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, to shielding gases for welding applications, noble gases and high-purity specialty gases. We also develop and distribute procedures and systems for gas applications all over the world in several technological application centres.

    In addition, we provide our customers with comprehensive support services and technical equipment. Linde is the world's largest supplier of welding and safety products.

    Healthcare

    Your partner for pharmaceutical and medical gas solutions Linde Healthcare is dedicated to providing pharmaceutical and medical gas products and services that enable healthcare professionals to provide optimal therapy for their patients in hospitals, clinics, intermediate care centres, emergency centres and patients’ homes.

    We are present in 70 countries, working to ensure our solutions are always delivered and serviced to the highest possible standards of safety, quality and efficiency. We combine a unique understanding of healthcare realities with continuous research and development.

    Pharmaceutical and medical gases are used in the diagnosis or treatment of a number of clinical conditions. In addition to oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy and anaesthesia, Linde Healthcare provides medical gas solutions for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, sleep apnoea and pain. Linde Healthcare shares its commitment with healthcare professionals around the world to achieve optimal and effective care while adapting to ever changing needs.

    Engineering Division

    Our Engineering Division is successful throughout the world. It focuses on promising market segments such as olefin plants, natural gas plants and air separation plants, as well as hydrogen and synthesis gas plants.

    In contrast to virtually all our competitors, we are able to call on our own extensive process engineering expertise in the planning, project development and construction of turnkey industrial plants. Linde plants are used in a wide variety of fields: in the petrochemical and chemical industries, in refineries, fertiliser plants and in the pharmaceutical industry. Linde also constructs plants to recover air gases, produce hydrogen and synthesis gases and treat natural gas.
