Schüco Open 2012

    Schüco is Official Environmental Partner at Wentworth

    Bielefeld Schüco International KG in Bielefeld was the Official Environmental Partner of the PGA European Tour at the flagship event on the European Tour, the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. The company could be found in an exhibition tent in the public area with the familiar slogan Green Technology for the Blue

    Planet. It was an impressive demonstration from Schüco of its close association with the sport of golf. For example, as host of the largest and most star-studded invitational tournament in Germany, the Schüco Open, which is being held for the fourth time in 2012, from 28 - 29 July at the Gut Kaden Golf und Land Club Gut Kaden near Hamburg.

    Schüco was running a range of competitions with attractive prizes during the BMW PGA Championship. A hole-in-one contest and a putting competition had been held each day, with prizes including caps signed personally by Martin Kaymer. There was also a competition to guess the number of tees in a glass jar. Prizes here again included caps autographed by Martin Kaymer and Schüco golf balls. One lucky visitor who was able to guess the exact number, or whose guess was closest, was winning two VIP tickets to the Schüco Open 2012 on Sunday 29 July.
