“During the meal he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Take this,” he said, “This is my body.” He likewise took a cup, gave thanks and passed it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them,
Mark 14:22-24 “This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, to be poured out on behalf of many.”The Eucharist illustrates the ultimate model of stewardship – the sharing of God’s very self with all.

The “Silent Treatment” is often considered a communication No No, but there are times when it’s better for a parent to say little than to repeatedly nag. Tell your child firmly once to pick up the toys. If ignored, calmly do it yourself and put the toys into quarantine for a period of time. Enough said!

O God, who in this wonderful Sacrament have
left us a memorial of your Passion, grant us,
we pray, so to revere the sacred mysteries of
your Body and Blood that we may always
experience in ourselves the fruits of your
redemption. Who live and reign with God the
Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God
for ever and ever. Amen.
