    Holiday Inn City Centre Guangzhou, managed by Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), which is a prominent landmark strategically located in the downtown of the city. Our hotel has 420 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, 1 bar, 7 multi-function rooms, and complemented with world class hospitality services and facilities.

At the moment we're looking for a Training Officer of Training Department to join our

    motivated and energetic team at Holiday Inn City Centre Guangzhou. The Training Officer position impacts on the skills, knowledge and attitudes of every hotel employee and ensures the availability and use of effective resource.

     Key responsibilities of this role include :

    ; Anlayse training needs of individual departments, developing strategies and including

    them in the Training Business Plan.

    ; In-depth understanding of Intercontinental Hotels Group training standards.

    ; Prepare, tailor and facilitate all levels of training programs from new employee

    orientation, customer service training, technical on the job skills based training,

    supervisory skills training, management development training.

    ; To monitor the monthly departmental training plan is in place, maintain hotel training


    ; Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the training office, training room and equipment

    ; To update the notice board for training department regularly.

    ; To collect the monthly department training plans and complete the monthly training report

    ; Has the ability to deliver internal training lecture independently according to IHG

    training standard.

    ; Monitor departmental responsibilities are being met with regard to their training

    standard operating procedures and best practice.

    ; Design and deliver English Training courses for hotel staff in different Departments.

    ; Fulfill the other tasks assigned by the Training Manager.


Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following things we're looking for :

    ; A minimum of 2 years experience delivering training programs to entry level and or

    supervisory level will be preferred.

    ; Preferred candidate would have minimum of 2 years hotel working experience.

    ; The university graduates whose major is in International Tourism Management

    or Hotel Management will be preferred to be considered.

    ; High level of personal confidence with public speaking.

    ; Strategic thinking, good organizing and planning skills would be an advantage.

    ; Be creative, with good communication skill and official document writing skills .

    ; Fluent spoken English with CET 6 or similar English level.

    ; Good manners and positive attitude.

    ; Intermediate level of skill with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
