The Clean Access Agent checks for the presence of antivirus software for Mac OS X. Four different programs are recognized, ClamXav, Computer Associate’s eTrust, McAfee’s Virus Scan, and Symantec’s
Norton AntiVirus for Mac. If no antivirus is found, or if definitions are out of date, you will receive an Assessment Report that indicates the MacOS X AV Definition Updates must be corrected. If you wish to install ClamXav, free antivirus software for Mac, then you have about 25 minutes to complete the process before the Clean Access Agent logs you out. If you’ve installed ClamXav and
updated the definitions but you still can’t login, then quit the Clean Access Agent and login again.
