Since beginning to use the system in October, I can only sing its praises.
The membership, for the most part, saw the advantages of the system, namely, (a), they could book from home or work, (thus not have to ring the Pro Shop, how many times until they got through), and (b), they did not have to be in the Clubhouse , (when the time sheets issued on a Friday evening), to obtain a prime slot.
The membership regards the system as providing everybody with "equal opportunity", in the booking of "prime Slots".

Overview of BRS Systems
BRS Systems was founded in 2003 by Rory Smith and Brian Smith who are keen golfers and currently members of Ardglass and Belvoir Park Golf Clubs. Between them they have over 20 years experience in the software industry, a large proportion of which has been in Internet related projects.
Rory Smith BEng MSc MIEI - Graduated from Queens University in 1989 with a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science. Prior to BRS Systems, worked 4 years in Short Brothers PLC and 9 Years in Nortel Networks.
Dr Brian Smith BSc PhD MIEI - Graduated from Queens University in 1995 with a BSc in Information Technology and a PhD in Electrical Engineering. Prior to BRS Systems, worked 5 years in British Telecom and 1 year in Nortel Networks.

Members Tee Booking Module

- Members can access the system using their club membership number and a registered password

- Members can not modify or delete bookings made by other users
- Club can activate/deactivate each member and can add/edit/delete member details

Visitor Tee Booking Module
This is an optional additional module allowing visitors to book and pay on-line. This module includes the following features:
- Visitors can book tee times on the web site 24 x 7
- Visitors pay for their golf through the web site using secure credit card transactions
- Visitor personal details are recorded such as name, address, and email address for future marketing
- Visitors receive an email confirmation message for each booking
- Visitors receive a unique booking reference number for each booking

Club Computer Hardware and Software Requirements
Since this is an Internet based system, all the club needs to operate the system is a computer with an Internet connection.
