I worked on a number of projects which include:

    1. Upgrade - Worked on a bespoke integrated HR, Payroll, data and relationship Management platform

    for production in the film industry. The solution included expansion of the databases to view details

    of associated cost / financials through batch importing of data from the financial systems as well as

    changes due to Autoenrolment, opt-out & re-enrolment and RTI requirements. My role comprises of

    System and user inter-face business change testing (GUI). Testing is carried out in an Agile Scrum

    and TDD/BDD environments using HP Quality Center as test management tool.

    2. Upgrade - Exchange migration project which involved an upgrade from Microsoft exchange server

    2003 to 2010. The project was sub-grouped into 4 phases. I joined the team at the 2nd phase of the

    project which involved migration of the head-office users into new domain. I wrote test scenarios for

    all un-migrated accounts which served as a baseline to carry out System acceptance testing and after

    migration to validate the successfulness of the exchange server migration activities.

    3. Green field A green field development project of a client web application which provides access to

    detailed payroll and HR information through web and mobile application to users within each client’s

    account record. Application was developed using .NET and Microsoft Technologies, Flex /

    Action-script on the client side which retrieves data content from a SQL server database. I performed

    all the testing activities which included functional, system, integration and performance and

    regression testing to test entire business workflow. I also carried out browser compatibility testing

    and UAT .The project was developed in an Agile Scrum environment.

    ; Successfully tested, validated and delivered functionalities against business requirements and

    sign-off documents before the completion time of the project. Using test estimation framework, I

    was able to save the client more than 20% of the cost of the project.

    ; Took initiative to create a user guide document which boosted the number of users registering by

    80% and limited the number of user support requests, at the same time providing the company

    with a more customer friendly solution.

    ; Produced an easily understandable detailed document of all testing activities for future use and

    reviews. This significantly reduced workload of the testing team and improved knowledge

The major project that I worked on is as follows:

    RDR- Enhancement Test Analyst

    The project was an enhancement to optimise user experience in the income payments process from pension drawdown plan. This application was designed to make payments on a regular basis and subsequently enhanced to take care of other payment options based on the new income options while also ensuring audit trails for service requests. The testing activities involved regression testing, re-testing of bug fixes as well as UAT testing


    ; Significantly improved user confidence of the tested applications by working closely with

    different levels of business stakeholders of these applications. This created more opportunity for

    scenario-based test scripting and execution of test cases which in turn ensured increased

    efficiency of the solution.
