are looking for a qualified Vietnamese national to work in our Head Office in Ho Chi Minh City in the position of Business Development Officer.
; Interact with customers both face-to-face and by phone to develop customer
relationships, follow-up on sale opportunities and facilitate customer retention
; Pro-actively identify opportunities to better serve customers by demonstrating a
high level of product knowledge gained through participation in ongoing training
; Resolve and respond to customer queries/complaints in a timely and effective
; Achieve customer service excellence by understanding and practicing the Bank’s
customer service standards
; Achieve personal sales targets by adhering to the Bank’s sales and service
; Be alert for cross sales opportunities at every stage of customer interactions
; Develop and maintain internal and external referral sources and proactively seek
external referrals from existing clients who are satisfied with the service provided
; Undertake training and coaching of internal lead referral sources
; Apply sales tools to assess financial risk within your position’s expertise, to
protect the Bank’s assets and enhance the financial development opportunities of
; Consistently maintain sales records and identify and explain any variances to your
; Optimise the branch’s income by collecting appropriate customer fees
; Act as the ATM custodian
; Assist customers with account maintenance issues
; Assist the branch in achieving its overall sales targets by actively participating in
any planned promotional activities and setting of sales targets
; Deal with overseas transactions as required, in full compliance with foreign
exchange regulations and documentation requirements and other relevant laws
and regulations of Vietnam
; Undertake home loan interviews as required
; Ensure customer applications are compliant prior to delivery to Loans Processing
Centre and Lending Support cells
; Undertake any other tasks as required.
Year of experience: 1 - 3 year(s)
Minimum career level: Experienced (Non – Manager)
Minimum education level: Bachelors
; Minimum 3 years experience in Banking, preferably within a sales / lending
; Bachelor degree in Accounting or a Finance related discipline
; Ability to work in a busy, commercial, competitive and target-driven environment
; Ability and willingness to develop sales and service skills
; Ability to interact with a wide range of customers and colleagues
; Demonstrated business development skills
; A desire and capacity to deliver excellent customer service
; The willingness to accept coaching and to coach others
