Culture Collage Project

    1. Create a collage that depicts every aspect of your cultural identity.

    Your collage should follow the following parameters:

    1. start with a posterboard size 22” x 28”, you may cut/shape/draw on the poster-board to depict a shape that is

    important to you (cross, letter, outline of your body, etc.)

    2. everything that appears on your collage must be in color (you may use cut-outs from magazines, newspapers,

    printed documents, drawings, pics, etc.) your collage must cover all of the posterboard.

    3. you may use words on your collage, but they must appear in the foreground of your collage (in front of pics)

    4. put your name on the back of your collage

    5. your collage should be neat and easily understood

Use these as suggestions of what to put on your collage:

    ; Sports you participate in ; Places (vacation, hangouts)

    ; Religion that you practice ; Foods you eat

    ; Movies you like ; Future learning institutions

    ; Language(s) you speak ; Symbols

    ; Music

    ; Hobbies

Presentations should address the answer to all the bold print questions on the following pages, as well as a food sample of your

    favorite food.. Presentations should last no more than 7 minutes. Your collage is due on the date of your presentation along with

    answers to the attached questions. All answers to the questions should be typed and printed on a separate sheet of paper.

     d. Explain the diffusion process or processes that each item had to go through to be a part of your culture now. (Diffusion

    examples: relocation, hierarchical, stimulus, contagious)
