Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore
Position based in Singapore, English speaking.
The Director of Sales & Marketing:
; Promotes his/her regional hotels to achieve optimal sales at the best possible
conditions to update with the different local markets.
; Develops the synergies between the 3 countries.
; Maximizes Accor hotels market share within his/her region.
; To set up and lead the S&M strategic plan for the region.
; To promote the use of Accor distribution channels and tools.
; To drive Asia corporate key strategies within the region
; Reports directly to the regional VP Ops and functionally to Asia Pacific SVP and
have regular contacts with hotels GMs and DoSMs in the region.
; Keeps him/herself well informed about his/her markets products and trends.
; Closely observes matters pertaining to competition and draw strategy and actions
plans out of it.
; Ensures the implementation of each brand marketing concepts in line with Accor
; Reviews, in conjunction with hotels GMs and DoSMs, their rates whenever necessary.
; Establishes regular contact with major associations and government departments
which specialize in corporate business.
; Provides feedback to owning companies liaising with VP Ops and hotels GMs.
; Support our property development strategy in providing his/her input to prospects and
; Organizes and attend regional trade shows.
; Promotes our corporate distribution strategy within our properties.
; Develops and foster good rapport with our key opinion leader and customers of
his/her different markets in an effort to ensure and promote a good image of our
; Ensures our sales advertising and public relations efforts provide optimum profit
; Maintains contacts with professional people, media, government officials, corporate
companies and with any other key clients or potential.
; Draws up the regional annual marketing plan.
; Assist and supervise the hotels GMs and DoSMs in their respective S&M plans. ; Comprises on a regional basis monthly Sales and Marketing reports, Sales & Marketing Highlight and Market Share Analysis.
MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING
; Recruits the personnel for his/her department with the approval of VP Ops and HR dept with due respect for the budgets.
; Manages his/her team in an equitable manner and in accordance with local labor laws and Accor philosophy.
; Evaluates each member of his/her staff at least once a year.
; Ensures a good atmosphere and efficient co-operation in his/her department. ; Convenes meetings with his personnel at regular intervals for information purposes.
