Being a Big Fish Over Being a Small Fish
We will graduate from university next year, some of us want to go to supper cites to be a small fish in a large pond, while others want to go back to their hometown, maybe s small town, be a big fish in a small pond. Personally, I want to be a big fish in a small pond because being a big fish over being a small fish in its beautiful and healthy environment, high social position, less life pressure.
Firstly, being a big fish in a small pond means that you can enjoy beautiful and healthy environment. As we all know, the development of technology in small places is less than that in big cities, so the damage of environment is also less than that in big places. In small places, you can see many trees and mountains that you cannot find in big places. Obviously, the air in small places is fresher than that in big places. Beautiful healthy environment will let you live better.
Secondly, being a big fish in a small place has higher social position than being a small fish in a big place. There are all kinds of excellent people in big places and you just one of them so that not many people will notice you. You just a drop of water in the sea. You may be very sad. However, if you are a big fish in a small place, many people will admire you and you will be more confident in life. High social position can make you live happily.
Finally, being a big fish in a small place has less life pressure than being a small fish in a big place. In big places, you are engaged in terrible traffic jam, a difficult job hunting, high price house and so on. You may have a big life pressure and cannot have a breath. But in small places, you may have little difficulty in finding a suitable job after years of hard learning in university. You can easily buy a good house because of the low price of the house. Moreover, you can possess a cool car and drive to work without any traffic jam. Less life pressure make your life easier.
In short, my choice is based on a careful consideration of environment, position and life pressure. From the above, we can easily see that being a big fish in a small pond is better than being a small fish in a big pond.
