CV Travel, always well connected

    CV Travel’s 2007 portfolio

While CV Travel continues to offer an exceptional choice of hand-picked idyllic retreats and

character houses, many of them off the beaten track, clients increasingly wish to keep in

touch with the outside world while on holiday or request entertainment systems. Mobile phone

reception, wi-fi internet access, satellite and Sky TV now feature on the wish lists of facilities

    required by clients.

thAs CV Travel celebrates its 35 year of business and launches its 2007 portfolio of properties

in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Mallorca, Morocco and the Greek Islands, it reports an

increasing trend for communication and entertainment systems as well as for the stunning

locations, creature comforts, quality and service which CV Travellers can rely upon. Many

villa owners are starting to incorporate high tech facilities, whether the property started life as

a noble‟s estate or a rural farmhouse, or has been purpose-built to specification.

CV Managing Director Debbie Marshall explained “These days some of the frequently asked

questions from clients will be whether a property has internet access or Sky TV, and some of

our owners have gone to great lengths to meet these requirements, discretely upgrading old

properties so that modern sits comfortably with old and investing in state of the art

telecommunications in new villas and houses. The success of CV Travel has been

established over 35 years by offering old-fashioned customer service and exclusive villas in

the very best locations, but we are adapting to changing client requests, and are able to offer

    modern technology as well”.

The contemporary Casa Lluna on Mallorca combines tranquillity, panoramic views with

modern technology including plasma TV, surround sound and internet access while at the

thother end of the scale the Moulin Niras, a 16 century French olive oil mill, mixes

contemporary with antique, offering wi-fi high speed internet connection.

Debbie Marshall continued “ Undoubtedly there are also those who are looking for a tranquil

retreat away from the modern world, but even some of our most tranquil retreats can offer the

option of getting connected should the need arise”.

CV Travel Highlights for 2007 follow:-

    The highlights:-

? A new charter flight from Gatwick to Preveza serving the island of Lefkada

? Expanded flights from Gatwick to Corfu, with two Monday departures

? Expanded choice of properties on Corfu‟s west coast ? Opportunity to enjoy water taxis from our new `harbour house‟ on the island of Spetses

? Exceptional new, `Rou Estate‟, 200 year old converted village, with spa / holistic therapy

Corfu remains the flagship of CV („Corfu Villas‟) Travel for 35 years providing our clients with

memorable holiday experiences in both romantic villas for two or large properties suitable for

family gatherings. On the North East coast the company‟s distinctive oval blue plaques will be found on the areas top houses and villas including Villa Ismini near Barbati and Villa

Apraos which sits on a sandy beach of Kalamaki. The Rou Estate is an exceptional new

addition for 2007, an exclusive, privately owned estate perched above the Ionian Sea,

converted from a 200 year old village, offering a health spa, holistic therapist and made up of

    13 private houses.

In 2006, CV Travel introduced the unspoilt island of Lefkada and since then has successfully

doubled the number of properties offered with the convenience of a weekly Sunday flight.

The charming Old House in the quiet hamlet of Pigadisani, near Karya, dates back to 1870

and has been sensitively restored whilst maintaining its distinctive features.

    The highlights

? Expansion in France, with eleven new properties

? Emphasis on top, luxury houses in Mallorca, Spain and Portugal

? Expansion of CV Travel cook and staffing / concierge service

Exceptional new properties on the north coast of Mallorca typify CV Travel‟s presence on the

island, with the focus on idyllic villas with pools, beautifully furnished, with spacious

accommodation and high tech facilities, from plasma TVs to internet access. It‟s unusual to

find a small house on the Med, but Ca‟n Puput is a charming finca for two. New houses in

Spain and Portugal reflect the trends for `all mod cons‟, without losing their heritage. The Villa

Gambuzinos on the Algarve is well appointed, but located close to an age-old sleepy village.

In Spain, El Molino Los Medicos has been restored to a standard rarely seen on the site of an

olive mill sitting discreetly in private acres of natural woodland and avocado trees. Casa

Dana is the perfect combination of modern comfort and traditional style designed by one of Andalucias leading architects reached by a private track.

In France CV Travel has greatly expanded its choice of properties. As well as several luxury villas on the Cote d‟Azur many additional houses of only the highest quality in regions such as Languedoc Roussillon have led to the expansion of the French programme, keeping in mind our clients needs for modern facilities coupled with the CV Travel style of authentic French properties.

Furthermore, Domaine de Beaumont is a wonderful property made up of nine villas which have been specifically designed and equipped for family holidays. Those families with young children will appreciate the daily crèche set in its enclosed space and supervised by English speaking nannies and the shallow ends of the two pools which are fenced for safety.

    The highlights

? 8 new and unique properties, from elegant houses to restored farmhouses ? A wide range - honeymoon towers to larger houses for big groups ? Rural - Tuscany, Umbria, Puglia, Campania, Lazio, Le Marche, Sicily and Sardinia ? Coastal Ischia, Sicily, Sardinia, Ponza, Puglia, Amalfi Coast, Cilento, Circeo, Tuscany

? Increasing trend in Italy for personal local cooks

The CV Italy portfolio continues to feature some of the loveliest homes for rental in Italy, all in beautiful and culturally interesting locations, with a pool or near the sea. Each house is carefully selected for a combination of different „Wow factors‟ – exquisite interiors, comfort

and service, exclusivity, exceptional views, character, extensive private grounds and homes with historical significance.

CV clients prefer space and privacy with proximity to beautiful Italian villages and towns such as Florence in Tuscany or Ostuni in Puglia or near the best and most exclusive parts of the Italian coastline such as the Monte Argentario, Positano and Puglia. Our choice of new properties reflects these preferences.

Parco del Vaglio in Puglia is one of our latest additions a gorgeous traditional trulli style

house, with whitewashed walls and magical, conical roofs, perfect for groups or couples. Stylish Le Porciglia is an interior designer‟s dream house in classic Chianti countryside and large enough for families or groups of friends, while La Lucertola in Tuscany comes complete with a house staff who cook all your meals, an increasingly popular service.

? Eclectic and luxurious hotels, villas and Riads

? new properties in Taroudant, Agadir, Ouirgane, Oualidia and Tangier ? an expanded choice of flying routes into Morocco

Clients are seeking to go further than the main cities and CV has reflected this with an expansion in the choice of Moroccan destinations, while Morocco is now associated with some of the world‟s most luxurious hotels.

The new destination of Oualidia hosts one of Morocco‟s most exclusive 5* hotels, `La Sultana‟, an oasis of tranquillity, right on the coast, near to Casablanca, in the heart of a rich fishing area, giving rise to its superb sea-food restaurant. Exceptional leisure facilities, spas, Jacuzzis and entertainment systems, contribute to the hotel being included in the CV Morocco programme.

One of the most interesting additions to the CV Morocco brochure is `La Folie‟ in Tangier, a colourful and glamorous restored 1940‟s retreat, furnished in a riot of colour, filled with the scent of flowers and candle-lit at night, with staff to provide meals and refreshments and a `magic door‟ leading from the garden to a Mediterranean beach.

    The highlights

? New boutique hotels in Corsica and Sardinia

? Expansion of hotels in France

? Individual hotels in continental Europe and on 7 Greek islands

CV `hotel‟ clients are taking longer stays and seeking both multi-centre and multi-country

holidays, with one recent itinerary involving travel from Italy to Corfu, on to Spain then onward to Morocco. Short stays are less in demand, with clients booking anything up to two week holidays in CV Travel‟s choice of hotels in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Mallorca, Greece, France and new Sardinia and Corsica.

New hotels for 2007 include the Casa Angelina, entirely furnished and decorated in white, while unusual stays include a cave hotel carved into the rock face in Santorini, a cave room in Puglia and a glamorous garden `day bed‟ in the Bethusa hotel in Seville.
