The Wedding “Breakfast”

    Please find enclosed our wedding menus with a range of dishes from which you can compile your own menu. Alternatively, we are very happy to discuss a menu to suit your particular requirements. In addition the menus presented to you are flexible

    to allow you to interchange some of the dishes if required to complete your choices and we can advise you if there is any alteration to the menu price.

    There are also suggested canapé selections, which is an attractive addition and are served to your guests on arrival whilst they are enjoying reception drinks prior to the wedding breakfast itself. The enclosed prices are for 2009.

Room Hire Charges

    There is no room hire charge and the prices shown are inclusive of VAT.

    Should you decide to have a Civil Ceremony and, use our Conservatory Room for this purpose, there is a charge of only ?250 for the room hire for the ceremony, regardless of the numbers attending.

Finger Buffets

    We have enclosed three suggested buffet menus for your evening party guests and again we are happy to provide alternative options should you wish.

Special Rates

    We have specially reduced rates for wedding receptions taking place midweek, Fridays or on Sundays. During November to February a discount of 20% on our published menu prices is offered and 10% throughout the rest of the year. Should you decide to hold your wedding on a Saturday in November to February we will discount our published menu prices by 15%.. The above discounts are subject to a minimum of 50 persons and on the “Wedding Breakfast “and evening buffets only.

    We are happy to quote for smaller wedding parties in either our conservatory overlooking the river and gardens or our lovely Waterwheel restaurant, which also overlooks the gardens.

    We are here to help you in any way possible and, therefore, please discuss your preferences with us.


    Charges for children are as follows and are for a 3 course menu, which can either be a similar menu to the adult choices or we do have alternative main courses that may be more suitable.
