    fortsbetweenCASandtheMax PlanckSocietyinGermanyandthe InstitutPasteurinFrancetoiointly establishnewresearchinstitutes. TheCASpresidentstressed

    thattherearebrightprospectsfor cooperationinthefieldsofspace, energy,nanomaterials,information andbiOtechnOlOgV.Hesuggested thatbothsidesmakeiointeffortsto trainresearchprofessionalsin cooperativeprojectsandbuildthe bilateralworkshopsdevelopedby CASandindividualEUcountries intomultilateralonesbetweenCAS andvariousEUcountries.
