Trifle

Ingredients

? Jam Swiss Roll

    1 Large Spoon of Canned Fruit

    15ml Custard Powder

    7.5ml Granulated Sugar

    150ml Cold Milk

    Dream Topping for Decoration

Method

    1 Slice the Swiss roll into the bottom of the serving dish and cover

    with fruit.

    2 Measure the sugar and custard powder into a small bowl.

3 Measure the milk into a measuring jug.

    4 Blend the custard powder to a paste with a little of the milk from the

    jug.

    5 Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan until it begins to boil.

    6 Pour the heated milk on top of the custard paste and mix thoroughly.

    7 Return the custard mixture to the saucepan and stir until it boils and

    thickens.

    8 Cool custard slightly, then pour over the fruit and sponge in the

    serving dish.

    9 Leave to cool completely, then decorate with piped cream.

    TO MAKE A FAMILY SIZE TRIFLE, USE:

    1 Jam Swiss Roll

    1 Can of Fruit Cocktail

    60ml of Custard Powder

    45ml Granulated Sugar

    600ml of Cold Milk

    1 Packet of Dream Topping
