    SPRING FLING WELCOME

Welcome to the 2009 Little Wonders Spring Fling and Auction!

I know that you will enjoy this evening’s food, fun and the fabulous finds on the auction tables! On behalf of

    the Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for attending and supporting the school tonight. The Spring

    Fling is our most important fundraising event of the year, representing an important portion of the school’s

    operating budget. The monies raised from your bids this evening go directly to maintaining our beautiful

    facility, continuing the unique programs and services Little Wonders offers and retaining our incredible

    teachers all while helping keep our tuition low.

    Last year we introduced a very successful “Fund-a-Need” program at the auction, which gives you the opportunity to make donations directly towards the purchase of special items for the school, like a new CD

    player for the classroom or a “Tot Tree” for the yard! This year, we’ve added the opportunity to make a

    donation to our Wonderwork Fund and help maintain the scholarships that we offer to families who may not

    otherwise be able to participate at Little Wonders. We hope everyone will take a look at the “Fund-a-Need”

    section and find something they would like to support.

An evening like this is clearly the result of a lot of hard work by the many parents on the Auction,

    Contributions and Spring Fling Committees. In particular, I would like to thank Cheryl Enright and Lori

    Jabagchourian, our Spring Fling Co-Chairs, for their tremendous efforts in organizing this event. Special

    thanks also go to our Auction Chair, Holly Trollman, and our Contributions Co-Chairs, Cheryl Hagedorn,

    Ting Lee and Meg McLaughlin, for the hours and hours they spent making sure that our auction is a

    success.

We also need to express our gratitude to all of the donors and event sponsors, many of whom are Little

    Wonders parents, alumni and friends. There would be no Spring Fling without your generosity!
