    Restructuring Corrupted Data files with Datafix

    We have included a small program that will assist you in restructuring your data files. This can be used if recreating your indexes doesn’t work or if you have errors like “index is out of date”, “corrupt table other than header”, or “a component name ________ already exists”.

The program is called Datafix identified as “Pdxrbld.exe” and it is located in your

    program folder (usual path is C:\Program Files\Youth Enrollment).

1. You can go into Windows Explorer and simply double-click on this file Pdxrbld.exe

    (extension might be hidden this is an Application file).

    2. The program opens as Paradox tables check and repair utility ver 4.41. 3. Select the database By alias (this will choose the selected database that is in your

    BDE Data path)

4. Select alias WinYouth

    5. Rebuild scope Select Rebuild corrupted tables

    6. Check Pack tables

    7. Then click Start

    8. It will run through your files showing its progress and find errors if applicable. If

    there are errors you will get a message and correct them.
