    ciencyof5.9%atAM1.5f100mW/ cm.).Thisiscomparabletothe DSSCusingaconventionalLiI--ni-- trileelectrolyte,whichusuallyuse expensiveanhydrousLiIandnox

    iOUSsolvents.

    IntheA1/I,batterytheyhave developed,Allisformedsponta

    neouslywhenaluminumandiodine electrodesarebroughtintocontact atroomtemperature.Compared

    withtheconventionalLi/I,battery, thenewcellcansupplyalargedis

    chargeratewithdischargecurrent density.The1owcostoftheA1/I systemaswellasthefeatureofen

    vironmenta1friendlinessmakesthis systemasanattractivedevicefor electrochemicalenergyconversion andstorage.Theresearchersbe
