    4 cups of love

    2 cups of loyalty

    3 cups of forgiveness

    Take love and loyalty, mix it thoroughly with faith. Blend it with tenderness, kindness and understanding. Add friendship and hope. Sprinkle abundantly with laughter. Bake it with sunshine. Serve daily with generous helpings.

    Popovers

Ingredients:

2 cups flour (not self rising)

    1 tsp. salt

    2 eggs

    2 cups milk

Preheat 425?

    Mix above ingredients with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into well greased muffin pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

    This recipe is from Charleston, SC and is 275 years old.

    Artichoke Dip

Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise

    1 cup parmesan cheese

    1 small can green chilies

    1- 14oz. can marinated artichokes

Preheat oven to 350?

    Drain artichokes and green chilies. Cut into very small pieces by hand or with chopper. Mix all ingredients into a 1-quart baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm with crackers.

Optional:

    You could add a small amount of crab meat prior to baking, if desired.

    Maui Artichoke & Crab Dip

Ingredients:

(3) 8oz. pkgs. cream cheese (softened)

    1 c. mayonnaise

    1/3 c. Dijon mustard

    ? tsp. cayenne pepper

    1 tsp. garlic powder

    14 oz. can artichoke hearts (drained & chopped) 12 oz. cooked crab meat (fresh or frozen)

    8 oz. cheddar cheese (shredded)

    Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, cayenne pepper and garlic powder until smooth. Fold in artichoke hearts and crabmeat. Warm the mixture in microwave or stovetop. Remove from heat. Reserve ? c. of cheese for garnishing, while mixing the remaining cheese into the mixture. Pour warm into hollowed bread loaf or dish. Garnish with remaining cheese. May be served with bread or crackers.

    Garlic Rosemary Foccacia Bread

Ingredients:

1 cup olive oil

    2-3 cloves fresh garlic

    1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary (dried will not work) 3 cups bread flour

    1 ? tsp. salt

    2 tbsp. sugar

    1 cup warm water

    2 tsp. oil (vegetable or olive oil is fine)

    2 tsp. yeast

st1 3 ingredients:

    Mash the garlic and rosemary leaves together into a thick paste (I use a mortar & pestle for this), then add the olive oil and let it soak for about 30 minutes.

BREAD

    Make the bread dough any way you like- add all of the ingredients to bread machine on the “dough cycle”, or you can

    ndmix it by hand. Bring it to the 2 rise. When the dough is ready for its final rise, flatten it out into a cookie sheet w/ a lip. (Stoneware works best). Any cookie sheet will work. Pour the olive oil on top of the flattened dough, and use your fingertips to press the oil into the dough all over. Let I rise for about 20 minutes, then bake it for 15 minutes or until golden brown and the oil sizzles over.

Best when served warm from the oven!!

    Ambrosia(salad)

Ingredients:

    2 cans of mandarin oranges (drained) 16 oz. can pineapple (drained) ? c. mini marshmallows

    ? c. sour cream or yogurt

    ? tsp. coconut extract

    shredded coconut (optional)

Mix ingredients together and chill for at least 2 hours. Ready

    to eat.

    Broccoli Salad

Toss Together:

    4 c. broccoli flowerets (cut into bite size) 5 strips of crisp bacon (chopped)

    ? c. shredded cheddar cheese

    Mix the following dressing and add to above:

? c. mayonnaise

    ? c. fat free ranch dressing

    ? c. garlic powder (add more if desired) ? c. sugar

    1 Tbsp. vinegar
