    Introduction

the generation after 1980s enters the time of globalization. As the most active group at present, the generation young men receive the tendency positively, even if some do not know what the real meaning is. Especially American cultures, they bring them barely no matter what is useful or not. The generation gives up Chinese excellent family heirlooms and national spirits in pursuit of fashion and sense of fresh.

Clash of cultures makes people think more about the survival of Chinese culture. The glorious and arduous task is loaded on the generation after 1980s’ shoulders.

Undoubtedly, as the positive part, the generation after 1980s’ can not copy directly but must learn to magnify Chinese culture, choose essences and abandon dross.

Chapter I. Status of the generation after 1980s Accepting American Culture

1.1.Copying the Ideas in Western Culture Lock, Stock and Barral

the generation after 1980s is interested in American Culture, life style and consumption habit, especially the America’s

dream. Is it true that the foreign moon is bigger and more beautiful than ours? “Made in America” has labeled anywhere, however, “Made in China” only appears on the small goods.

1.2. McChina: A Consequence of Enjoyment

Fast food has infiltrated every big city in our country since 1980s. The new industry has peppered into every nook and cranny of Western country has been popular in the new group.

1.3.Sex in the generation after 1980s’ Eyes

it is the time for the Y Generation to show their opinion on this matter and be able to.

Chapter II.Ways of the generation after 1980s to spread Chinese Culture and Nation spirits

Obviously, the Chinese culture has been globalized fast. What should the generation after 1980s do when the wave of globalization is coming?

     2.1.Combining Inheritance with Originality

The Y Generation must keep their minds clear: remaining and developing their own national culture, widely magnifying their own national spirit are related to the future and destiny of China.

     2.2.Avoiding Cultural Hegemonism and Conservatism

The cultural globalization, correctly the mean of so many culture syncretisms, does not force others to accept unique value.

     2.3. Unifying Absorption and Spreading

Complying with this wave, the Y Generation should have and improve two abilities, one is to absorb foreign cultures, and the other is to spread Chinese culture and national spirits outside.

    Conclusion

As opinion vary from globalization, no unanimity can be drawn.

It is not rhetoric for the generation after 1980s on reception the changes peppered into the whole world, of course, it is never

a criticism for theirs activities, either. But surely, it is a fact. As the future of China, the Generation has been globalized

imperceptibly. They accept the tendency easily without any consideration, no matter it is good or bad. Maybe some of them have never been conscious about this word, but they are drawn into the wave. All is because of pursuing modernity, stimulation and individuality. They nearly forget Chinese history, culture, even they are Chinese, or only know to copy foreigner thoughts lock, stock and barrel.

No one can catch up with the time, no more than to go back. Then, the generation after 1980s cannot put out the fire of Chinese distinctive culture to pursue fantastic modern elements. It is not only a moral problem but also a problem related to the existence of our nation.
