Point out that this invoice was entered with a deferred revenue accounting rule that

defers the revenue to a future period(s) and that it posted to the Unearned Revenue GL

    Account.

You can use the Revenue Adjustment and Accounting form to adjust manually, as we

are going to do in this presentation. You can also automate the process and base it on

business events or milestones using the Revenue Adjustment API. Other Oracle

modules and custom code can call the API to automatically trigger adjustments. Using

the API means that the GL entries would be made automatically without having to use

    the Wizard.

Note: If you use the API, you can’t change the GL Accounts after they have been

created by AutoAccounting in the API.
