    Library Rules

1. Students are not to borrow books from the Reference ONLY section.

    2. The library is open during the college business hours. The library will be closed when the

    classes are in session. Please make appointment(s) with the administrative staff in advance. 3. Please fill out the card with your full name in the book and bring to the office. The office

    administrators will record the lending and stamp the due date on your card(s). 4. The loan period is four weeks. Most items may be renewed twice by e-mail or phone, if they

    are not already overdue and if there is not a hold on the item.

    5. The maximum number of items that any borrower may have checked out for Montessori or

    ECE subject (English and/or Mandarin) is three (3) and other subjects is five (5) per time. 6. The students are responsible for all the materials borrowed and for any charges on items that

    are lost or damaged.

    7. Any damage or lost materials must be replaced or paid for by the borrower. 8. When returning the book(s), bring to the office. Please do NOT return the items to the shelf by

    yourself as the office needs to know that you have returned the book(s). 9. The overdue books will be charged $1.50 per day for Mandarin books, and $0.75 per day for

    English books.

    10. The students may not borrow any other items in the library until ALL lending have been

    returned.
