Formal CAHEEP Business Meeting—Beginning with an overview of this year’s

    program, introduction of new faculty in the seminar, and then round-robin discussion of program chairs and state of their programs. (Remember that our meetings are open to all faculty and students as they may wish to comeefforts will

    be made on part of the program staff to have more program chairs attend). Light

    refreshments and then deserts served.

    Introduction and Welcome: Les Goodchild, CAHEP Program Chair

Major CAHEP conference address by Anna Neumann, Professing to Learn:

    Creating Tenured Lives and Careers in the American Research University (Johns

    Hopkins University Press, 2009).

    Anna Neumann is a Professor Higher Education at Teachers College, Columbia University (pending)

    40 minute presentation with 20 minutes for questions and answers.

Program ends at noon.
