    Description: Fishing Camp provides valuable information regarding fish and their habitat, teaches various fishing

    techniques, and cultivates a new crop of responsible anglers. All aspects of fishing are covered, ranging

    from fish identification and fish biology to boat navigation and angling techniques. Campers leave Fishing

    Camp with an appreciation for the sport of fishing, as well as the knowledge required for ethical angling.

    Description: The City also offers a summer camp program for students age eight to twelve that are interested in the

    outdoors and environment. Outdoor Camp will teach campers about the animals and plants found in our

    natural environment. Campers will also participate in a variety of outdoor activities such as archery,

    camping, canoeing, gardening, fishing, habitat construction, hiking, kayaking, tracking, and wildlife

    observation.

Program: Beginner Tai Chi

Event: OPAL Youth Theatre Performance of ―The Ever After‖

    Details: ―The Ever After‖, a musical by Nathan Hartswick & Bill Francoeur. Performance by kids 8-14. This

    hysterical fractured fairy tale has it all: a trash-talking clairvoyant mirror, an unfortunate prince who is

    turning slowly back into a frog and even Jiminy Cricket now an occupational therapist and author of the

    book My Life as Your Conscience. The musical is punctuated by questions from obnoxious studio

    audience members and ridiculously funny infomercials for fairy tale related products, such as the Practical

    Princess Crown (which doubles as a purse and makeup case). Get ready for some knee-slapping and

    hand-clapping with great foot-tapping songs like "Beauty Impaired" and "Dainty Do-Gooder"!

    Details: It’s that time again to clean out garages, carports and storage areas. During the Spring Clean-Up Week,

    we accept appliances, yard debris, furniture, carpet/floor coveringsjust about anything you want to

    discard. All debris must be manageable and safely packaged! Tree limbs are limited to 6‖ in diameter

    and 4’ in length. NO chemicals, tree stumps, concrete products, tv’s, electronics, batteries, tires or

    other potentially hazardous items. Pickups are May 2-7. Place trash at the curb on your regular trash

    collection day.
