Y-Ubuntu Tour 1 A Cultural Experience (ex Durban 2days)

    Experience the attractions of South Africa‟s most diverse and multi-cultural city, Durban. We will take you on an eco-tourism

    experience, you will participate by getting into the “thick” of it all, while our guide educates you on the city‟s very interesting

    history. Negotiate a bargain for yourself at the famous Victorian Indian Market or get some “muti” (medicine) from a Zulu healer. For lunch, we will eat Durban‟s famous curry “Bunny Chow”. Immerse yourself in the fascinating Zulu culture and come „face to

    face‟ with people -.a visit to the Valley of a Thousand Hills and the Inanda Heritage Route will involve active participation. Visit the Ohlange Institute, where President Nelson Mandela cast his vote in South Africa‟s first democratic elections in 1994 and the Phoenix settlement where Mahatma Gandhi developed his philosophy of passive resistance.

    Y-Ubuntu Tour 2 The Zululand Explorer (ex Durban 4days) A Cultural Experience (Y-Ubuntu Tour 1)….. + Leave civilization on a journey into the heart of Zululand. We will stop off and visit some of the Zulu homelands and the informal road-side African Art and Craft markets. Overnight and experience through participation the unique Zulu culture at the Shakaland Cultural village, before moving on to the“BIG 5” Game Reserve –

    hluwe/Umfolozi famous for Rhino population and the home of the black Rhino wildlife. On the return journey enjoy a socio-Hlu

    educational boat cruise on the World heritage site of the St Lucia Estuary here we will seek Africa’s largest reptiles, the

    crocodile, photograph a smiling Rhino and look out for the abundant and unique birdlife.

Y- Ubuntu Tour 3 A Kwa-Zulu Experience (ex Durban 6days)

    A Cultural Experience (Y- Ubuntu Tour 1), The Zululand Explorer (Y-Ubuntu Tour 2)…. + We will travel through the scenic midlands of Kwa-Zulu Natal, Game view on-route in a private conservation area until we reach the majestic Drakensberg Mountains. Surrounded

    by grasslands, eland and beautiful wild flowers - you have a choice or hiking, horse-riding or for the not so adventurous take a 4x4 to

    discover the Bushman paintings (rock art) that adorns the sandstone wall of shallow caves. A remarkable interpretation centre will

    insure a thorough introduction to the life and times of these ancient people.

Y Ubuntu Tour 4 “Jozi ” and the “Big 5”(ex Johannesburg 4days)

    Overnight in Johannesburg, fondly known as “Jozi” and experience the hustle and bustle of its vibrant city and night life. Take a Township taxi (mini-bus) to Soweto - once the spiritual heart of the struggle to democracy now one of the richest township’s in Africa. Leaving civilization behind you will enter a world where animals still reign free. Hop aboard a 4x4 Open Vehicle and keep a keen eye open to see the “BIG 5” and countless other animals in their natural habitat. Visit South Africa‟s only “living” museum

     Pilgrim’s Rest and experience the natural beauty and splendours of Mpumalanga - Bourke’s Luck potholes, God’s Window,

    We will take a +- 1 hour flight from Johannesburg or Durban to Port Elizabeth where the tour will commence but end in Cape Town

    From the semi-arid Karoo to the lakelands of Knysna and the forests of Tsitsikamma, experience the natural beauty of the Western Cape. Ostrich farms, caves, a lagoon, and elephants... it is a perfect example of the diversity of the South African environment - an absolute must for any nature enthusiast. We will stop off at Franschoek in the breathtaking Winelands before we reach the
