    when many attendance machines are connected by a network, you should append a

    laden resistance on each end of the net.

    User registration

    Input the original password 09999, and press to enter into user #

    registration status. (this original password can be changed through the background

    T&A management system program. The details in 3.5 Set parameters for the attendance machine.)

    Notice: you can press the left functional key shift menu.

    Functions Sequence: user registration, delete user, date set, time set.

    Input the user‟s ID number ( for example:1082.)

    Notice: you can shift the registration status by pressing the middle functional

    key.

    press to start up for registration. (Operate according to the leading voice) #

    Press the left functional key to select del. User, and input the user‟s ID, whom you want to delete, and then press # to delete.

    Press the left functional key to select set time, then input the correct date and press to ensure. Press to shift or exit. The format: YY-MM-DD #*

    Communications settings

    Please select one of the three communications(RS485 TCP/IP RS232) for data transfer.

    Instruction code: RS485;990001 TCP/IP;990002 RS232;990003

    Input the corresponding instruction code on the following status, and press the

    right key to make sure, then press * to exit. For example:

    Initialization (cleans up all data)

    By the same way as the communication setting to initialize the machine. The

    initialization instruction code is 999990.

Software updates

    Step1 turn on the AV100, input 09999 to enter into user reg. Status, and

    input instruction code 999999.

    Step2 perform the STC-ISP program on the computer connecting with the

    attendance machine, and select STC89LE516X2, COM1. Step 3 click Openfile to open this hex file, and click download. Step 4 press the right functional key on the attendance machine. Step 5 AV100 start to update the software.

    Select management in the menu?And press IN/OK to enter the window above.

    User registration

    Select registration withand pressIN/OKto enter user registration status. Input the user‟s ID and pressIN/OKto confirm, then you can register the user‟s fingerprint.

    Note: you can useto select the registration mode? fingerprint or ID+fingerprint or ID+password.

    User deletion

    IN/OKSelect Delete User and press, then input the user‟s ID who you want to

    IN/OKdelete, then pressto make sure, this user is deleted.

    Administrator settings

    IN/OKSelect master set and press, then input the user‟s ID who will be an administrator. Select the proper administrator‟s authorization withto

    finish the setting.

    Note: the administrator can directly enter to the managing menu by inputting 09 and

    verifying his fingerprint.

    Access control permission settings

    Give a user the permission for opening door: select the Door ACCESS and

    IN/OKpressto enter, then input the user‟s ID who will be permitted and select door

    access enable or door access disable to finish the setting.

    Set time

    You can set time in this menu withkeys.

    Power management

    You can decide that how long time no touching the machine the system turns to hibernating. You can adjust the time arrange from 0 to 60 minutes. Any key touching will resume the system.

    Fingerprint matching precision options

    Here you can set the fingerprint matching precision when using ID + fingerprint mode. The default value is good.

    Communication

    Here you can decide which communication mode to use, TCP/IP or RS232 or RS485. The default mode is RS232
