     Abstract: ObjectiveTo determine the contents of six trace elements by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy including Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ca, Mg in bulb and root of Allium macrostemon. MethodsThe sample was diluted by microwave with HNO3, and the contents were determined by calibration curve method. ResultsThe results showed that the Allium macrostemon contains

    rich trace elements which is necessary for people. The recovery was in the range of 95.00% ~ 102.80% and the RSD was less than 2.821 4%. ConclusionThe method is simple, accuarate and satisfactory.

     Xiebai (Allium macrostemon), also known as the small root garlic, wild garlic, Allium Liliaceae perennial herbs. Bulbs medicine, but also can be used for vegetable consumption,

    cultivated widely in southern Jiangxi. Modern research shows that Xiebai contains a variety of bio-active ingredients, with

    lipid-lowering, antioxidant, antispasmodic asthma,

    antibacterial, anti-cancer, regulate immune function, pain, etc. pharmacological effects [1 ~ 3]. Because of human health and disease prevention needs of people in recent years, Chinese medicine, Medicinal and Edible food of trace elements in an increasingly in-depth research and discussion. Modern

    scientific research has proven that a particular state of

    trace elements is to maintain health and preventing and curing diseases, one of the necessary conditions, trace elements and the body's immune, endocrine, some of the human body gonadotropin, vitamins and hormone synthesis, energy

    conversion, human growth and development, the brain's thinking and memory, nervous system structure and function are all closely related. Therefore, the present study, flame atomic absorption spectrometry Xiebai bulb calcium, manganese, iron, copper, zinc, magnesium and trace elements in six kinds for the study of shallot white pharmacology, efficacy and internal relations of trace elements provide a useful experimental data.

     1 Materials and methods

     1.1 Instrument and reagents

     TAS-990 atomic absorption spectrophotometer (Beijing & Poor's analysis of the company); Fe, Cu, Ca, Mn, Zn, Mg hollow cathode lamp (Weigelasi Instrument Co., Ltd.); New Human UP 900 (South Korea Human companies) ultrapure water traps; WX-

    4000 Dual control temperature and pressure Microwave Digestion System (Shanghai Yi Yao Analytical Instruments Co., Ltd.); concentrated nitric acid (excellent grade pure) (forward Chemical Reagent Factory); HR1707 Philips combo mixer (Zhuhai Special Economic Zone Fly Lipp home appliances Co., Ltd.).

     18.3 MΩ.cm ultra-pure water, distilled water using a

    single device by the above-mentioned ultra-pure water

    obtained; Fe, Cu, Ca, Mn, Zn, Mg standard solution, the content were 1 000 μg * ml -1 (National Institute of

    Standards Materials Research Center); shallot white water

    taken from Ganzhou Dong.

     1.2 Preparation of samples

     1.2.1 Preparation of liquid diluent and standards

     Thinner: The excellent level of pure nitric acid preparation of the mass fraction of 1% of the dilute nitric acid, as iron, copper, zinc, manganese standard solution of the diluent. Weigh 1 g of strontium chloride, 1 g potassium chloride and 1% nitric acid mixed solution dubbed as calcium and magnesium standard solution of the diluent.      Take the above-mentioned six kinds of elements in

     1.2.2 Sample handling Weigh about 0.2 g dried crushed roots and bulbs of shallot white powder, by adding 5 ml concentrated nitric acid, into the microwave digestion instrument, the closed microwave digestion, while production of blank control experiments, digestion solution obtained exhausted containing the remaining nitric acid, the digestion solution after the transfer to a small beaker with a water bath heated rush acid.      2 Results

     2.1 The results of the analysis and precision experiment using the above-mentioned method Xiebai trace elements in test

    results and the precision shown in Table 3. Data from the

     3 Discussion

     Microwave digestion Xiebai root samples, reducing the amount of mixed samples of acid-soluble agents, shortening the

    digestion time; by flame atomic absorption spectrometry Xiebai roots in the content of trace elements, simple operation, high

    precision, accuracy, good; spike recovery rate of 95.00% ~ 102.80%, relative standard deviation (RSD) ? 2.821 4%, the

    data reliability.

     Trace elements in the test results showed that white scallion bulbs and roots are rich in essential trace elements

    in the human Zn, Cu, Mn, Fe, Ca, Mg. Of trace elements on the body's cellular metabolism, biosynthesis and physiological functions play an important role. Zn and body development, growth, immune function, sexual development and its functions are closely related, zinc deficiency, the cause decreased immune function, T-cell dysfunction, leading to production of various diseases; Cu involved in the metabolism of many enzymes, body biological transformation, electron transfer redox reactions and organizations are inseparable from the

    breath of copper; Fe to participate in the body and blood, and to participate in synthesis of hemoglobin and myoglobin, to play sports and storage of oxygen function; Mn involved in protein synthesis, genetic information transmission and the

    secretion of thyroid and gonads; Ca in the body have lower blood pressure and reduce the role of stroke, cerebrovascular disease in patients with calcium decreased; Mg can activate a variety of enzymes in vivo to maintain the structural stability of nucleic acids, inhibit excitatory nerve involved

    in nucleic acid protein synthesis, muscle contraction and regulation of body temperature [4,5].
