    Business Activities of Toyota Tsusho: Toyota Tsusho is the trading unit for the Toyota Group, which includes Toyota Motors and

    Auto Parts maker, Denso. The Company brokers a wide array of goods including Metals (e.g.

    steel), Machinery, industrial materials (chemicals, auto parts) and various consumer products.

    The Company exports Toyota vehicles around the world and offers insurance services for

    companies. Toyota Motor Corporation owns approximately 23% of the Company.

TTSPH markets and fully supports the Toyota, Yamaha and Hino brands, as well as other high

    profile products throughout the South Pacific region. While the TTSPH administrative Head

    Office is in Brisbane Australia, its operations are in seven key South Pacific markets. Toyota

    Tsusho (South Sea) Limited trading as Asco Motors operates branches throughout Fiji, Tonga,

    the Independent state of Samoa and American Samoa. Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings

    also trades as Ela Motors in Papua New Guinea, Ela Motors in the Solomon Islands and Asco

    Motors in Vanuatu. In the majority of the markets in which the company operates TTSPH are

    the market leaders within that Country’s automotive industry.

    genuine parts are available to support all of our customer’s parts requirements. Ela Motors

    market quality used vehicles and are resellers of Yamaha marine, motor bike and power

    products, Hino, Renault and Mack trucks, and Massey Ferguson tractors.

    Job Description

    POSITION : Fixed Operations Manager - PNG

1. Report To:

    CEO/Director PNG

    2. Direct Reports: National Parts Manager

    National Service Manager

    3. Job Summary : To expand the fixed operations business and exceed budgeted targets of the

    fixed operation departments. To consistently promote and market our Fixed

    Operation facilities and operations with the goal of increasing market share.

4. Major Accountabilities

Profitability

    ? Increase sales revenue, market share and maximise gross profit margins

    on all Aftermarket sales.

    ? In conjunction with the National Service Manager & National Parts

    Manager, plan and develop campaigns to maximise sales to our existing

    customer base, identify new business opportunities and enhance brand

    awareness in the market.

    ? Develop a detailed understanding of the prices and practices of our

    competitors in the Market place and recommend activities to increase

    our market share.

    ? Develop appropriate meaningful profiles on all our main competitors in

    the After Market business. Make recommendations to take appropriate

    timely measures to deal with any issues that arise from collecting and

    analysing the data of competitors in the After Market business.

    ? Develop strategies to enhance our product mix and pricing structure.

    ? Develop programs to address the disposal of aged stock.

    ? Take appropriate cost effective measures to enhance our brand image

    in relation to the After Market business.

    ? Ensure Company inventory levels provide a superior level or supply

    ability whilst maintaining minimum inventory levels and exposure to

    obsolescence.

    Customer Service ? Ensure Customer Relationship Management activities are established

    and used to improve customer retention activities whilst ensuring

    superior level of achievement in the Customer Service Index.

? Ensure Toyota Service Management principals are introduced and

    maintained in all branches in conjunction with National Service and

    Parts Managers.

    Relationships ? Liaise with TTSPH, TTC and other key stakeholders on an ongoing basis

    in regard to market conditions and business performance.

? Ensure we have effective profitable relationships with the Insurance

    companies.

    Human Resources ? Set annual Performance Management System targets for staff in line with

    the overall vision and objectives of the company.

    ? Obtain Human Resources department approval and CEO approval for the

    hire and termination of all staff and ensure any hiring is in line with the

    budget and company policy.

    ? Train and develop employees as appropriate. Training of citizen

    employees is one of the primary objectives of the Company and the PNG

    Government and a primary objective of the employment contract.

    ? Conduct regular meetings with staff to set priorities, review performance

    to date and motivate increased performance. Ensure a friendly and

    motivated working environment and assist with preparation and

    development of training plans to ensure staff performance and succession

    plans are in place for long-term stability.

Occupational Health & Safety

    ? Practise good health and safety procedures, follow all requirements and

    advise staff on any health and safety matters to ensure a safe working

    environment.

    5. Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. However, regular

    travel within PNG to support branch after market activities is required.

    Overseas travel to attend meetings is also required.

    6. Person Specification

    (Essential)

    Experience: Minimum of 10 years practical fixed operations experience,

    preferably automotive.

    Education / Qualifications:

    ? Proven After Market Marketing experience

    ? Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications

    ? Strong Analytical skills

    ? Training/coaching abilities

     Personal Characteristics - Ability to:

    ? Participate and work in a team environment

    ? Possess excellent communication skills
