    NEW BUSINESS WIN CHECKLIST

    1. LEGAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Before any work on behalf of your new client can begin YOU MUST provide your

Practice Business Manager (PBM) with client contact information, so he/she can prepare

B-M’s Legal Terms and Conditions document. Your PBM or B-M’s Contracting

Department then will send the Legal Terms & Conditions document directly to the client for signing.

PLEASE NOTE: No modifications can be made to the Legal Terms & Conditions document without the prior review and approval of B-M’s Contracting Department.

IMPORTANT: Only your PBM or B-M’s Contracting Department can send the Legal

Terms & Conditions document to your client.

    2. LETTER OF ENGAGEMENT (LOE)

Before any work on behalf of your new client can begin YOU MUST provide your

PBM with the “term” of the engagement, a clearly defined scope of work and corresponding budget figures. Your PBM then will send the LOE directly to your client for signing.

PLEASE NOTE: Any changes requested by your client which have been directed to you must be approved in advance by your PBM.

    3. EXTERNAL/INTERNAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Some clients have contractual terms that prohibit us from disclosing that we have a relationship with them. Before making any external announcements, please check with B-M’s Contracting Department or your PBM. After obtaining this information, let your Practice Chair know if B-M can announce your new business win to our employees…or

if we can also send out a press release to announce the win externally.

    4. NEW BUSINESS PRESENTATION

A copy of the new business presentation that helped you win the business must be sent to Andy Sarnoff to be cataloged. Please indicate if the presentation is confidential, or whether or not it can be shared with others developing new business presentations (consider the information you obtain in step 3, above).

    5. CLIENT PLAN

Do we have a client plan for this win? If so, is this revenue to help achieve client plan?

Or, it is incremental to the client plan?

    QUESTIONS?

Please contact your Practice Business Manager
