    ; Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has introduced a new component for

    the 2010 Show - a Prestige Brokerage Display to showcase vessels of 15m or

    longer. The new category means there will be more high quality 15m-plus vessels, just part of the spectacular range of boats and marine products on display including multimillion dollar superyachts, sail boats, luxury cruisers, trailerable boats, jetskis, engines and kayaks. The 2010 show marks the 22nd

    annual Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, staged at Sanctuary Cove on the northern area of the Gold Coast. The Show will be held Thursday, May 20

    out top honor at the Pacific Rim Global Chef Challenge. Chef Angela Brown of

    Room81 Sofitel Gold Coast and Chef Ross Howell of Ross Howell Catering, are the proud winners of the 2009 Pacific Rim Regional Final of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) Global Chefs Challenge. The final was held during major food industry expo Fine Food 2009 at Sydney Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour. Ross Howell and his assistant for the competition,

    ; Robina Town Centre has won the prestigious Retail Property of the Year

    Award at the Queensland Property Council of Australia Retail Property Awards on Friday 23 October 2009. Following two years of redevelopment, Robina Town Centre, owned by QIC, has expanded into a major regional shopping centre, becoming the Gold Coast's premier retail and leisure destination.     ; MTV Plugs into Dreamworld (Dec 26 - Jan 22)

    For four weeks this summer, MTV will plug into Dreamworld as some of the nation‘s most recognisable faces mash together the best of MTV in an explosive and entertaining live show called MTV Plugs Into Dreamworld Summer Series.

    Part stunt show, part game show, full of pumped up music and always focused on over-exaggerated fun, the 30 minute shows will use contestants plucked from the audience to help out. Shows run from December 26 - January 22and are included in entry price. (see release attached)

    ; Bring Back Slime (Dec 26 - Jan 22)

    Get ready to go green again as WhiteWater World brings back the smash hit Slime Fest. Have the slime of your life when SpongeBob SquarePants and his Nickelodeon mates pack our water park with dazzling performances, crazy kid-friendly games, live music and the nation‘s only Mass Sliming.
