THANKS TO ALL EMERGENCY CREW WORKERS!

With the last ice storm that ripped through Arenac County, our special appreciation goes out to all emergency

crew workers- Au Gres City DPW, Au Gres-Sims-Whitney Fire Department, Arenac Couny Road Commission,

Au Gres-Sims Police Department, Arenac County Sheriff Department, Consumers Energy, and all private

contractors who also worked to maintain safe travel conditions in the community. Thank you for all your

efforts to help restore power and clean up from the icy-wintery storm.

A special thanks goes out to our Au Gres City DPW staff, Don Dittenber and Heath Christie. During the

storm, they had to keep the water and sewer plants running smoothly with no power plus keep our streets clear of snow and ice. Please take a minute to say “thank you” to many of the above dedicated workers who helped

    our community during this emergency.
