2.2 Next phases

The sub-working group has started work on the architecture for the mobile e-mail enabler. This is captured in an evolving mobile e-mail architecture document available on the public site at

    http://www.openmobilealliance.org/ftp/Public_documents/MWG/MEM/permanent_documents/. The

accompanying technical report initiated by the sub-working group identifies and analyzes relevant supporting technologies.

The work has only started on these documents. They should not be considered as stable. The latest versions of both documents will always be available on the OME MEM public web site (permanent document directory) at the URL provided above.

IETF LEMONADE has already been identified as developing such a relevant technology and some of the OMA technical specifications may rely or have dependencies on the work being done there.

    2.3 Interim meeting

The OMA Mobile E-mail SWG will hold an interim meeting in Paris in conjunction with the IETF LEMONADE meeting.

The meeting will take place 8-9 Aug, 2005 in Paris.

We request that the IETF LEMONADE Working Group:

mobile e-mail features that may affect the LEMONADE activities. ? Provides feedback on the possible relevance of LEMONADE work

? Provides its view on preferred potential collaboration in order to support one realization the OMA mobile e-

mail enabler, if LEMONADE WG considers its activities relevant to the OMA mobile e-mail enabler

    requirements..
