Creating a Common List of Job Instances
To create a common job instance list, perform the following steps: 1. In the Work with engines pane of the Job Scheduling Console, right-click on Common Default Plan Lists switch and select Job Instance from the pop-up menu.
2. The Properties - Job Instance Common List window is displayed.
The fields in this dialog are a subset of the fields available in Properties - Job Instance List in “Creating Job Instance Lists” on page 108 which you can use to
enter all the information needed to create the common job instance list. Specify any of the available search parameters or combinations of two or more parameters. To generalize your search, use wildcard characters, such as an asterisk (*) to represent strings of characters, or a question mark (?) to represent a single character. If you
leave all fields blank, all the common job stream instances are displayed when you open the list. Use the Engine pull-down menu to specify which engines are used when creating the list. By default, all the engines to which the Job Scheduling Console is connected are selected.
Use the Column Definition tab to define the columns displayed in the list. When you have finished:
v Click Apply to save the list and run it without closing the window. The list results are displayed in the right pane of the Job Scheduling Console. v Click OK to save the list. The new list is added in the tree under the engine you selected when creating the list.
v Click Reset to return all fields to the values you inserted when last saved the list.
