    A few options for receiving help towards insulation and heating installations.

WARMFRONT (Government funded scheme) For all

    those receiving an applicable benefit FREE

    INSULATION AND HEATING.

    If you receive an applicable benefit, your energy supplier may be able to help, to insulate the cavity walls and loft.

    If you do not receive an applicable benefit, it is advisable to contact your energy supplier (gas or electric) to see if it is possible to receive help to insulate

    the cavity walls and loft.

Please check with your energy supplier.

POWERGEN For all Powergen customers (who do

    not receive a qualifying benefit) (based on 2/ 3

    Bedroom semi-detached/ terraced properties) Cavity wall insulation is ?230.00.

    Loft insulation is ?200.00 full top up (existing

    insulation is less than 50mm in loft) Loft insulation is ?195.00 - partial top up (existing

    insulation is between 50mm- 100mm in loft)

    POWERGEN For all those who are not Powergen customers (who do not receive a qualifying benefit)

    (based on 2/ 3 Bedroom semi-detached/ terraced properties.

GOVERNMENT FUNDED WARM FRONT GRANT

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

?300 Heating Rebate to help homeowners and

    private tenants who are aged 60 or over.

    The Warm Front ?300 Heating Rebate can be used to help homeowners and private tenants who are aged 60 or over, who are not in receipt of a Warm Front qualifying benefit and who have either no heating system or one which is inoperable.

    Householders who qualify for funding will only be permitted to use installers approved by Corgi, NICEIC or Oftec and who are currently registered for the ?300 Heating Rebate Scheme. A letter/ voucher will be sent detailing the names of six installers who have registered in the area, householders will then decide which installer they want to complete the work and will contact them directly to arrange the work. In the case of private tenants, landlord permission should be obtained prior to work going ahead.

    Please remember, funds are limited and retrospective claims are not allowed.
