COMMENT OF THE DRILL : (Following Abandon ship drill)
1424: Quick release system acknowIedge satisfactory, started engine. Manoeuvred lifeboats in water around
ship one time, water spray system started, life boats engine tested ahead & astern according to SOLAS
requirements, found satisfactory and took photos.
1436: Lifeboats flush with fresh water, hoisted both side LB and properly secured.
1448: Drill was called off on crew confirming and chief officers verified the crew have understood and know
what this drill is all about.
REMARKS: Crew response was generally good as a routine exercise.
