(1) Writing and Revision Control of Product Specification

    ; In planning phase, the system engineer compile the specifications based on the

    demand analysis and system designing scheme.

    ; The revision of the specification that has passed the review must be controlled.

    The specification can be upgraded if necessary, but the upgrading must be

    approved by the system engineer. And a review meeting should be held. ; The system engineer should upgrade the version and issue it each time when the

    product specification is revised. The specification used by project team and

    relevant department must be the latest.

(2) Requirements

    ; The product specification should be able to describe the product name, model,

    configuration, appearance, dimensions, weight, color, function, technical

    parameters, external ports, user interface, manufacturability, serviceability,

    material, reliability, standards and optional parts completely. ; The product specification should be simple, clear and accurate. All the indexes in

    the specification must be measurable or be able to be tested. All the functions

    should be able to be simulated and the features(such as cable access mode,

    structure, appearance and maintenance) should be able to be felt or be evaluated.

    As to the measured parameters, the measuring error should be given. ; The methods or process to realize the functions should not be included in the
