    PLANNING QUESTIONS

2. Councillor D. Butler

     “To ask the Manager for an update with regard to the derelict land at the junction of the Brackenstown Road and Church Road; and to ask that a safe footpath and pedestrian crossing be completed as soon as possible at this location?”

     “To ask the Manager to give the up to date position with regard to the progress being made to advance Circuit Court proceedings with regard to the Minister’s Road, Lusk (adjacent to Dun Emer Estate)?”

     “To ask the Manager to report on the lack of public lighting on the M1 fronting the M1 Business Park and to confirm if he is prepared to release the development bond/levies to facilitate the carrying out of these much

     needed works, given that it seems the developer has not carried out his obligations under his planning permission?”

     “To ask the Manager to report if he has taken charge of the bond money from the Liquidator of the development at Kilbush Lane, Rush and if he will as a matter of urgency, transfer sufficient funds to the Council’s Transportation Department to enable repairs to be carried out to the road and footpath?”

    taking place or due to take place with regard to the Ward Valley Park, including maintenance of footpaths and over-grown briars etc.?”

     “To ask the Manager to ensure that as part of this year’s Tree Pruning Programme, to cut back the large trees at Foxwood Estate, Swords, particularly the trees at the rear of (details supplied) that block almost all

     of the sun during the summer months?”

     “To ask the Manager to provide replacement heating at

    Balrothery Heritage Centre, given the totally inadequate heating in the building at present and the complaints from users in this regard?”

     “To ask the Manager given its potential amenity for the people of Skerries and Fingal to provide a masterplan for the development of Skerries Town Park, with particular emphasis on the section between the Mill and Sherlock Park/ Terrace, which is in a unkempt and dilapidated state?”

     “To ask the Manager to report on the status of

    Martins Shop in Rush and when it is likely to be available to the public and for what purposes?”

     “To ask the Manager to have the tree at (details

    supplied) removed as it is causing ongoing problems to the residents living beside it?”

     “To ask the Manager to make immediate arrangements to have cut off telegraph style poles (similar to those erected at Holmpatrick, Skerries) erected around the open space at the end of Hand Park, Rush to deter

     carried out at this location?”

     To ask the Manager for an update with regard to the development of a safe walkway and cycle path from Knocksedan estate through the Ward Valley Park towards central Swords?”

     To ask the Manager to indicate as to what action can be taken to ensure vehicular traffic is unable to damage the open space (green area) at South Beach, Rush?”
