    NATMAG SIGNS AS FIRST MEDIA SUPPORTER OF

    CANCER CHARITY LOOK GOOD…FEEL BETTER

     thMonday 9 November 2009. The National Magazine Company, Hearst Corporation’s principal business in the UK, is proud to announce it has just signed as the first Media

    Corporate Supporter for the Beauty industry charity, Look GoodFeel Better, which helps women cope with the visible side-effects caused by cancer drugs and treatment.

The charity aims to support all women newly diagnosed with cancer of which there are

    over 120,000 per annum.

    NatMag’s Managing Director, Jessica Burley, says: ‘Magazines and the beauty industry have had a long standing symbiotic relationship, and it is therefore fitting that we join

    forces to help more women gain the support they need. We will work with the team at

    Look GoodFeel Better to raise awareness of this unique charity.’

Look GoodFeel Better operates in 56 hospitals nationwide, providing workshops to

    teach women cancer patients techniques to cope with skincare, make-up and hair thchallenges. To mark its 15 Anniversary Year, the charity has produced a unique self-

    help tool - the Look Good…Feel Better Confidence Kit, and informative DVD and booklet

    set - to bring its services into the homes of thousands of women who otherwise cannot

    access workshops.

NatMag, which publishes 20 magazines in the UK, will use some of its titles to help raise

    awareness of the Look GoodFeel Better with editorial coverage and ad campaigns.

    By coming on board as an official supporter, the National Magazine Company will help to raise our profile and establish better ties with titles which have a direct line to our

    audience, commented Susan Taylor, Chairman of Look Good Feel Better.

    The Chief Executive of NatMag, Arnaud de Puyfontaine, says: ‘This is a tangible way for NatMag to demonstrate its support for the beauty industry and the wonderful work it

    is doing through its charity, Look Good Feel Better.’
