AHAMK MARKETING WORKSHOPS

    Need to improve your marketing &

    communication skills?

AHA - MK is offering a series of 4 workshops on marketing & communications presented by

    experienced practitioners from a number of leading venues and organisations in Milton Keynes.

    The aim is to make the workshops as interactive and practical as possible. They are suitable for

    anyone with either full or some responsibility for marketing and communications working in an

    arts or heritage organisation large or small!

    ? Session 1 Copywriting / Print Production / Direct Marketing

    ? Session 2 Press & PR / Advertising

    ? Session 3 Research & Analysis

    ? Session 4 Digital Marketing

Who is it for?

Anyone who feels the need for some support or advice on a particular aspect of marketing to

    develop skills, reflect on their organisation’s current marketing activity and effectiveness, make

    better use of their time, and acquaint themselves with current practice.

SESSION 1 Copywriting, Direct Marketing & Print Production, Wednesday 3rd June

The secrets of great copywriting for brochures, direct marketing, and websites revealed… traps

    and clichés to avoid… targeting the right message at the right customers… delivering the

    message with cost effective print that works

This session will be delivered by Rachel Chapman (Marketing Manager at The Stables) who

    has worked in copywriting and marketing in both the commercial and arts sectors and Monica

    Ferguson (Chief Executive at The Stables) whose previous roles include Head of Marketing at

    The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry and Marketing Manager at Derngate, Northampton.

The session will be interactive so please bring along examples of your own work or pieces of

    print or direct marketing from any field that you would like to share and discuss good or bad!
