     UC Davis The Council for UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) quarterly meeting

    thThe quarterly CUCSA meeting was held at UC Merced from March 4-6 2009. The Council is an Staff Assembly

    advisory body composed of two delegates from each of the ten UC campuses, the Lawrence

    Pin Partners Berkeley National Laboratory, and the Office of the President. UC Davis’s own Lin King is the Chair of

    CUCSA. The Council meets on a quarterly basis rotating between campuses, the national lab, and

     the Office of the President to promote communication and to solicit feedback on interests of primary

    concern to staff. UC Davis is next to host CUCSA this September. Guest speakers included: rd? 3 and U Café ? Sung-Mo “Steve” Kang, Chancellor of UC Merced ?     graduate degree from a college, university, or professional school. The UC Davis Staff Scholarship is funded by the Margene Orzalli Memorial Fund.

     ? One-on-One Thank you to all of those who recognized the contributions of your fellow staff by submitting a Tutoring nomination for the Citations for Excellence Awards. Individuals and teams awarded the Citations for

    Excellence will be recognized at TGFS and at a special ceremony at the Chancellor's Residence. This year the Citation for Excellence Committee will additionally select one outstanding individual to

    receive the special honor of the Distinguished Citation for Excellence Award. This individual will have ? Steve’s Pizza his or her name engraved on the perpetual plaque at the Alumni Center and will be recognized system wide by the Council of UC Staff Assemblies.

    Graduating Seniors to acknowledge their contributions to the University and its quality of student life, and to encourage their continued interest in the Davis campus. Due to our current budget constraints, TODS Departments and Programs this year’s recognition and awards ceremony was slated to be eliminated. The Cal Aggie Alumni Needed Association, in conjunction with Ceremonies and Special Events, has stepped forward and will host this year’s outstanding senior awards ceremony.
